Christmas Fitness

Merry Christmas!!!

we all know that times are tough this time of year but nothing makes me feel better than a new fitness routine, which is why I would like to share a few of my favorite work out websites with you

Increasing your workout routine as well as eating lighter will ensure your feeling fine after today and the next few days to come. Here are some websites for some great low calorie recipes:

I was fully prepared for thanksgiving as that day arrived and I did alright however it still took me 4 days to 'get over' what I didn't even do. Sometimes I 'punish' myself for what is only in my head, that is quite common so if you also do that you are not alone. Just realize your irrational thoughts as they come, keep your chin up and you'll be just fine!
Have a glamorous day!

Tiny Tips for a successful Ana

  1. Dark colored plates help curb hunger and feel fuller
  2. Use big dinner forks and spoons all the time (they are usually heavier also)
  3. Try to be stress free: when you are stressed out or uncomfortable it is a lot easier to lose self control. If you suffer from anxiety also learn techniques to manage that, it will help.
  4. drink a glass of water 30 minutes before a meal: when I still feel 'hungry' after a meal I find that room temp. water also helps
  5. Protein is important: don't skimp on protein, sure more cals but you will find yourself eating much less
  6. 2oz of walnuts help burn more fat faster
  7. 2tsp of Vinegar absorbs fat when taken before a meal
  8. chew your food 40 times
  9. plan your day's meals in advance
  10. don't rely on cigarettes as an appetite suppressant
  11. make a visual representation of your weight loss: I have two vases, a big one and a little one with sea shells, one shell=one lb lost and they go from the big one to the little one
  12. grab a mirror or turn on your web cam and eat in front of yourself
  13. Never skip breakfast!
  14. Chew food and spit it out
  15. fidget all the time
  16. Keep a thinspiration book: I have 4 different ones, at least have one with me at all times
  17. stay away from enriched and processed foods
  18. be careful of your bones: we need around 1000mg of calcium a day, grab a multivitamin
  19. Keep a food diary-always be aware of what you are eating
  20. when you feel done eating avoid over eating by ruining your food: I stick a napkin in it or drop my fork on the floor if I'm at a restaurant or toss it in the garbage if I'm at home
  21. Exercise before you eat
  22. Cook what you crave for a friend: I notice when I have a craving I watch other people eat it and it usually makes my craving go away. sometimes not but that brings you back to number 14
  23. Lean Cuisines are cheap and fast with around 200 cals
  24. never enough Juice: I use half my day's cals on juices and it works magic, can be diluted with water
  25. Fat free is your friend-your best friend
  26. wear smaller clothes
  27. Keep food out of sight
  28. cleans! cleans! cleans!
  29. Don't ever eat before you sleep
  30. Perfect posture makes you appear healthier and burns cals while giving you a sense of confidence
  31. Keep skin moisturised to avoid sag: I use St. Ives Skin Renewing Collagen Elastin
  32. Only weigh yourself for knowledge not inspiration
  33. keep your gym bag out in the open and put it new places everyday
  34. Mayo? what is mayo?
  35. Eat before you meet! never go on a lunch date or something without snacking first it helps you avoid over eating during your meal
  36. Brush your teeth right after your eat
  37. a minimum of 6 hours of sleep is necessary: lack of sleep is lack of loss!

Thanksgiving Preperation.

Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays, but I also know how stressful it can be the entire day is filled with food, people unbuckling their belts and there I am.
Here are some ways that I keep control on thanksgiving:
*plan out what you want to eat in advance
*wear tight clothes (I love my spanx)
*understand how much you are eating proportionately
*eat slowly
*eat before you are around the food so you don't pick at it
*water, water, water and green tea!
*showing up late also helps if you don't mind being untimely

one important thing to keep in mind is the average person eats 3,000 calories (299 grams of fat) for thanksgiving dinner and it will be easy for us to get nowhere near that.

some numbers:

turkey (4oz)
white meat with skin- 185 calories
white meat with out skin- 158 calories
dark meat with skin- 206 calories
dark meat without skin- 183 calories

baked ham (3oz with natural juices) 107

stuffing (1 cup) 400 calories

green bean casserole (I'm guessing about 1/2 cup) 270 calories

mashed potatoes (3/4 cup)
with butter and milk- 170 calories

sweet potatoes plain (1 cup) 250 calories

cranberry sauce (1tsp) 26 calories

hash brown casserole (1 cup) 320 calories

deviled eggs (two halves) 140 calories

fresh fruit salad (1 cup) 70 calories

dinner roll (small) 75 calories

Those are just the few that I could think of. I hope this helps you all have a peaceful Thanksgiving!

My Darling 'Master Cleans'

The Master Cleans Diet also commonly known as The Lemonade Diet is a  10 day cleans. Its main purpose is to rid the body of toxins and get rid of chronic health problems. However another side effect is (usually) drastic weight loss.

This program was created by a man named Stanley Burroughs who also has a book that I'm sure you can find at health food stores maybe Barnes and Noble. (I will post links)

Beyonce claims to have lost 20 pounds by doing this diet for a movie, that goes without saying there are also some dangers while doing this program.
please check out webmd (I will post link)

What the hell is this?
It is a drink that you will consume 6 times a day everyday along with water. This drink consists of lemon juice, cayenne pepper, maple syrup,  and water!

There is also a book called The Complete Master Cleanse by Tom Woloshyn

If you are considering this please speak to a doctor because it can be very damaging to your digestive system and blah blah. Sorry! I'll shut up.
